Why not enjoy the outdoors, meet fellow residents, and keep active by taking on an allotment? Growing your own fruit, vegetables, and flowers is a rewarding way to spend time in the fresh air while contributing to a greener community.

Kents Hill & Monkston Parish Council owns and manages 108 allotment plots across three sites:

  • Goldhawk Road, Monkston Park

  • Balmerino Close, Monkston

  • Frithwood Crescent, Kents Hill

Plots are available in different sizes and are priced accordingly:

A Plot = 0-62 sq metres £29.00 annual rent (56p/week)
B Plot = 63-125 sq metres £58.20 annual rent (£1.12/week)
C Plot = 126-250 sq metres £87.30 annual rent (£1.68/week)

A person with gray hair is gardening in a lush vegetable patch, surrounded by green plants and corrugated metal fencing. They're using a tool to tend to the soil.

All plot holders are required to sign an annual tenancy agreement, which runs from 1 April to 31 March, to ensure plots are used responsibly and in a way that benefits all allotment users.
